The staff at Mountain Management is a tenured, talented, and knowledgeable group. They possess the skills and experience needed to guide Mountain Management to achieve its vision of providing Exceptional Accommodations and Exemplary Service while honoring God.

 

These following individuals have helped clients have life changing vacations despite the up-and-down cycles of our economy:

 

Brook Walsh, President, brings to the company more than 20 years experience as a technology executive and private entrepreneur. Brook is responsible for the strategic direction and financial well being of the company and handles the human resources, owner services, and the accounts payable/receivable functions.

Brook got into the property management business after he and his wife purchased a vacation home on Lake Michigan and began renting it out. Shortly thereafter, the love affair with real estate took off and they began purchasing and selling multiple rental properties. Eventually, the amount of properties began to be more than they could manage while Brook was employed full time so he used his technology expertise to build an online reservation system that would automate the reservations and operations of day to day property management. Fast forward eight years, and the couple now owns two property management companies Boyne Rentals (www.boynerentals.net) and Mountain Management (www.mountainmanagement.com) and and a luxury travel agency focusing on beach and ski destinations, Ocean Summit Travel (www.oceansummittravel.com).

Prior to becoming a full time entrepreneur, Brook was a Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer with GreenStone Financial Services. Brook holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Public Policy, with a computer science cognate, from Michigan State University and a Masters of Business Administration from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University as well.

Rachel Walsh, Concierge Services, Rachel is co-owner of Mountain Management group and handles concierge services for the company.

Rachel was employed as a physical therapist for nearly nine years prior to staying at home to be a full time mommy for a while and then joining Brook in their entrepreneurial pursuits.

Rachel earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Hope College while playing varsity softball and volleyball at Hope. In addition, she has a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Central Michigan University.


Kelly Klett, Reservations Manager, has seven years of ski industry sales experience and handles the sale and reservations functions. Prior to working at Mountain Management, Kelly worked at Vail Resorts and worked with domestic and international travel agents at the Inside Sales Desk. In this role she served her clients with the highest quality in Colorado ski and golf packages. In addition, she has represented Rock Resorts in the Caribbean and has considerable personal travel experience to the Caribbean and Mexico.

Kelly moved to Colorado with her husband and their two young sons 25 years ago to live in the Rocky Mountains. They enjoy skiing, hiking and cultural events. Her husband owned a Translation Business for 12 years, with Kelly planning travel to Europe and other destinations (as well as homeschooling their boys who both have since graduated from great colleges).  This was the beginning of a lifelong passion for travel for her.
